Ohhhh Myyyy Goshhhhh.
My trip to Lake Tahoe && Vegas was the shiznit. Although I missed alot of yalllll during it. umm. ok. so. First off we missed our flight to Phoenix because of my father. Grr. And it sucked do so we had to wait in the airport for like a year.
Well, we did reach Reno and we drove to South Lake Tahoe from there and checked into Harrah's Resort. Then we settled in and ate at the food court there. We went outside and browsed a couple of shops and got sweatshirts. We walked throught the village plaza right after going to the hotels arcade. And we fell asleep really early hence jet lag. Around like 8. And that was the First Day.
Second Day. Woke up and ate breakfast at Baja's. Walked around to the "Heavenly Gondola". Its like this ski lift thing. Fun stuff. It had like two stops. First stop we basked in the scenery of lake tahoe, and it really is beautiful there. Second stop, we got off of the gondola and played in the snow. Yeah i know, its summer how can there be snow? There was snow. And i think the fact that we were on top of a mountain pretty much covers it. And so that snow kept us entertained for a while. Yeah, ok i admit i fell. A lot. Anyways, we got off of the gondola and walked back to the hotel while taking a bunchh of pictures with the bears (statues, not real!) that they have scattered everywhere. When we did go to the hotel, we went swimming, then ate at Fatburger (which now is like my loveeee, ugh we dont have one in texas which totally sucks) and then we ordered room service for dessert.
Third Day. Went to M.S. Dixie II which is a cruise that travels through Lake Tahoe. We ate there. Came back from the ship and went to the beach and made a pretty sandcastle. Then we went back to the hotel to the Reflections Spa to get a back, neck and shoulders massage. Oh lord that was just fantaboouloussss but the price was like a rip off i think. Whatever. It was worth it. Then we went to Starbucks and then to Harvey's arcade. And afterward back in the hotel and at at Fatburgerrrr. Yes again. I love that place.
Fourth Day. I thought it sucked. It was the last "real" day in lake tahoe. We woke up and drove to Carson City which is the capital of Nevada. Oh, if your wondering where lake tahoe is, its perfectly in the middle of NV and CA (stateline). So anyways, in carson, we went to this lame railroad museum. Then we drove all the way to Virginia City and did like nothing there. Except for sitting in the car. ugh. It sucked. And then we drove back to Carson and ate at subway. Then back to Lake Tahoe.
Fifth Day. Went to Airport and flew First Class to Vegas, baby! So first day in vegas we went to the bellagio for the ever famous "O" Show. It was seriously amazinggggg. I loved it. And that pretty much wraps up my first day there.
Sixth Day. (Second day in Vegas) Went shopping in the Desert Passage which was part of our hotel Aladdin. Also saw the M&M thingy and the Coke factory... wasnt really a factory but that was quite fun.
Seventh Day. (Third day in Vegas) Flew to the Grand Canyon. Weather there was awesome and it felt good to get away from the Vegas heat for a while. The tour was nice and it was hilarious because there were all of these asian people so they had to have like this asian translator lmfao it was hilarious. And then on the plane ride back to Vegas. Wow. That was kind of freaky because it was lightning like everywhere and raining real hard.
Eighth Day. (Fourth Day in Vegas) SHOPPED. A LOT. and came home at 7 in the morning. Stupid flight was delayed. |
